As a business owner we like to think that our customers rave on about how great we are and what a great service they receive from us. Sadly, it won’t always be this way. You can’t please everyone, no matter how hard you try.
Managing your brand is even more important if your business has a presence online. If a customer experiences a bad service online (this could include something as simple as you not responding to an enquiry they made through your website or social media pages) it can leave them with a negative impression of your company.
It is so easy these days to jump online and leave a not so favourable review of your business. Which can be very damaging to your business and as you might not be aware that it exists, you won’t have the opportunity to respond to it.
It is important to take time out to ask your customers what they thought of the service they received from you. If they weren’t 100% happy, ask them how you could do better next time. If they were delighted ask them to refer you on to friends and family.
